Gods of CivEarth District Court v. Town of 8ball
LegacySignal • July 22, 2025
A few hours ago, the Gods of CivEarth District Court announced their lawsuit against the Town of 8ball. The lawsuit is over allegations of violation of international law and damages. The case's court will be Gods of Civearth District Court for the District of Olympus, and its judge will be the Rt. Hon. and Very Revd. Justice Edegg. The case will happen in Courtroom One of the International Court of Justice, located in New Tokyo, Union of the Rising Sun. The following comes from the initial release document (archive). The charges being brought against 8ball include threats to global peace and security, severe violations of human rights and international law, including unlawful detention and/or mistreatment of foreign nationals, and disregard for internationally recognized protections. Gods Of alleges that 8ball engaged in discriminatory practices of policies against people of specific racial, ethnic, or national origins. Evidence will indicate:
The claims are for: violations of UN Charter Articles 8.1B and 8.2, interference in sovereign affairs without consent, threat to international peace and security, and racial discrimination and human rights violations. Gods Of seeks the following damages: $50,000 for direct economic losses. $100,000 for humanitarian aid and refugee support, and $150,000 for punitive damages to deter future violations. The total relief amount is $350,000. These funds may be recovered from confiscated assets, trade tariffs or sanctions, or the server bank balances of individual town members. The plaintiff requests the court declare 8ball having violated Articles 8.1B and 8.2 of the UN Charter, order cessation of unlawful actions, award compensatory and punitive damages, impose sanctions or monitoring as appropriate, and to grant other relief as the court deems proper. The document was submitted by Special Agents SkullSamurai and GodofGold from the Gods of CivEarth Office of the Attorney General International Law Division on the Isle of Lemnos, Main Pagoda. We spoke to Edegg, and he told us all the following:
We were able to speak to Cliff0241 who demanded us to tell him information about the case. We do not have anything he does not have. He quickly asked us (despite the Daily Crafter not knowing anything new about the case): "what was I being discrimitory about?" He then gave us a statement: "They are cowards, hiding behind legal names instead of saying what I have done. they have sent me a document saying I did some stuff, but they refuse to tell me exactly what those things are, keeping me from preparing a proped defense." But when asked what document he was sent, he refused to respond any further to the Daily Crafter. We can only assume that he has the same materials as what was made available to both the public and the press. In that case, it is obvious what he had done, and there is nothing to question about it. Additionally, upon review of the comments, many of them were found to be too inappropriate for Daily Crafter publishing standards to allow. We will report on the trial once it starts. We are committed to bringing the facts as they are made available. The trial is presently scheduled for Thursday 24th July 2025 at 1750 UTC. In USA Central Time, that would be 12:50 PM. |
