LegacySignal • July 26, 2025

Secretary General Edegg has issued an announcement a few hours ago on the upcoming UN elections.

Per UN Regulations, I will now begin the due process of the electoral cycle, in accordance with the Charter.

As of Thursday, the 31st day of July, I will step down as Secretary General of the UN and take up the regulatory position of Ombudsman. This is so as to better fulfil my duties to my own nation, and to L'Empire Français as regent.

Election ballots will open around and be open for no less than 21 hours.

To register to vote, please make a new ticket in #screening , and tell us that you intend to vote. You will be given the necessary information to vote, and you must keep this safe. You cannot vote without it. You must Register to Vote BEFORE or you will not receive your voting details.

ANYONE from a UN Member State is entitled to run for the position of Secretary General. You may form groups and alliances (known as parties) to help you campaign, or campaign alone. Each candidate is entitled to ONE #announcement post to campaign, and may do so on an unlimited basis in #media . Your campaign must not be misleading, disparaging of other candidates, or unduly pressure members to vote for you. Your town or nation cannot force you to vote for a candidate. If you suspect them of doing so contact me immediately. You do not have to vote but we strongly recommend that you do. If you have alternative accounts, these are prohibited from voting if you are also voting.
